Trading Spaces

This home’s original floor plan was the framework for its transformation. Rather than reconfigure the layout, we reimagined each room as it was—trading dated, traditional features for elevated finishes and thoughtful details that reflect a more modern way of living.

The scope was comprehensive yet cohesive, with updates spanning the foyer, formal dining room, kitchen, breakfast nook, living room, laundry room, powder room, and primary suite.

Nowhere is the transformation more apparent than in the open-concept kitchen. A soft, neutral palette contrasts in tone and texture, creating depth and connection with the kitchen's adjacent rooms. The breakfast nook and living room feel open yet intimate, with finishes that flow seamlessly from one space to the next.

The foyer and staircase were refreshed with architectural detailing and a refined palette that sets the tone from the moment you walk in. In the dining room, a high-gloss painted ceiling introduces an elegant focal point—a quiet moment of drama that elevates the everyday.

The primary suite was treated as a sanctuary, with custom cabinetry in the closet, tailored vanities in the bathroom, and finishes selected for form and function.

Each choice reflects a desire not to start over, but to trade up—honoring what works, while integrating modern-day luxuries and best-in-class finishes.
