Tucked within a stretch of native woodlands, this newly constructed lodge is designed as a sanctuary for gathering, hunting, and unwinding. Its dual wings and open-air hyphens create a natural flow between structures, while deep porches and screened rooms invite slow mornings, breezes, and evenings that carry on well past dusk. Both rustic and refined, the home offers a place where the pace shifts, and the quiet of the landscape becomes part of everyday living.
Inside, the design emphasizes durability and warmth. The open kitchen, dining, and living spaces are crafted to welcome groups fresh from the outdoors, while living spaces provide retreat and rest. A dedicated shop, locker, safe, and bath accommodate the rhythms of outdoor recreation, while keeping the lodge as functional as it is inviting.
The interiors will be shaped by thoughtful details, like paint colors that echo the woods, textures of wallpaper and tile that add depth, lighting that softens each gathering space, and a fireplace that becomes a true focal point.
