Oystercatcher is the flagship restaurant of the Sweetgrass Inn at Wild Dunes Resort. Originally outfitted to create a relaxed dining experience, our goal was to elevate it into a more intimate and refined environment that honors the resort’s coastal identity.
What once included a bar, waiting area, and a handful of high-tops has been transformed into a high-end experience with dining space for dozens of guests. Customized features include a bespoke art installation that serves as a partition between the lobby lounge and dining room, along with custom furnishings that were crafted to reinforce the Wild Dunes brand identity.
Bespoke furnishings and fixtures withstand heavy guest use while maintaining an elevated aesthetic. A custom banquette with rattan and light wood accents subtly reflects the resort’s coastal sensibility. Outside, Parisian-inspired café chairs, cabana umbrellas, and coastal textures create an open-air setting that feels relaxed yet refined.
