Patti Wilbourne is the Founder & Creative Director of PWD Studio. After nearly two decades of working in commercial interior design and architecture, during which she earned her NCIDQ and LEED AP certifications, Patti opened her residential and hospitality design firm in 2011. Experience | A long-time Charleston resident, Karen earned her accounting degree from the University of South Carolina. With decades of proven financial expertise in corporate and nonprofit accounting roles, she brings a wealth of financial knowledge, insights, and cross-industry experience to PWD Studio as the Finance Manager.
Expertise | Working closely with PWD Studio's creative team of designers inspired Karen to actively pursue innovative solutions in her own field. Finding her professional niche in the interior design industry, Karen specializes in optimizing office processes and systems, overseeing office finances, managing billing and invoicing, and delivering insightful data-driven analyses to the team.

Experience | Elisabeth graduated from Anderson University with a B.A. in Interior Design and a minor in Art History, later earning her NCIDQ certification. She brings a lifelong passion for design and a decade of experience in the Charleston design scene to her role at PWD Studio, specializing in high-end secondary homes.
Expertise | Known for her client-centered approach, Elisabeth excels in new builds and renovations, transforming creative visions into reality. Her expertise as a lead designer and design operations manager at PWD Studio produces exquisite results in her projects and those of her colleagues, ensuring all details are planned and executed to perfection.

Experience | An Atlanta, GA native, Holland relocated to the Charleston area to pursue an education in Historic Preservation & Art History from College of Charleston. Her specialized studies and time living in a city steeped in history amplified her passion for the arts and interior design, leading her to PWD Studio after graduation.
Expertise | A PWD Studio lead designer and an artist outside the studio, Holland excels in designing spaces that embody a feeling of 'relaxed luxury' through the creative use of art, color, and texture. With a design philosophy that equally values form and function, Holland’s expertise lies in creating environments that are inviting, impeccably styled, and where everyone feels welcome.

Design Team
Experience | Evelyn’s love of design led her to earn a degree in Interior Design from Auburn University’s CIDA-accredited program. Her distinctive aesthetic, which blends tradition and timelessness with everyday comforts, perfectly complements her move to Charleston, where she has gained experience in historic restorations and renovations. Known for her flexibility and patience, Evelyn has transformed clients' visions into reality through her ability to imagine endless design solutions.
Expertise | Evelyn excels in the technical aspects of design, such as cabinetry drawings, millwork, 3D renderings and floor plans, as well as the curation of furniture, fabrics, and lighting choices. Her approach to design is centered around crafting spaces with a seamless flow and unified story, featuring creative elements that are unique to each client’s life and style.

Experience | Elise’s laid-back, Gulf Coast upbringing and passion for fine art and architecture inspired her to pursue an Interior Design degree from Auburn’s CIDA-accredited program and start her career in Charleston. After initially gaining experience as an intern at PWD Studio, she joined the team full-time, where she has successfully completed a range of residential Design-Build, renovation, and interior design projects.
Expertise | Elise’s design philosophy is rooted in timeless aesthetics and silhouettes, elevated by bold color, texture, and pattern, merging classic elements with modern sensibilities. In addition to her keen eye for layering textiles and finishes of varying styles, her technical skills are demonstrated through detailed digital renderings and 3D design work for the Studio’s renovations and new builds.

Hong
Design Team
Experience | With a Bachelor’s in Painting and a Master’s in Interior Design from SCAD, Seojin began her interior design career in Atlanta, working with notable hospitality and hotel brands like Hilton and Marriott. Upon moving to Charleston, she gained valuable experience in restaurant design at an architecture firm before pursuing her interest in residential design and historic architecture at PWD Studio.
Expertise | Seojin leverages her eye for detail, artistic talent, and technical expertise to produce construction documents and renderings for select new build, renovation, and interior projects. Her hand sketches and digital 3D renderings vividly convey design concepts to clients, while bringing PWD Studio’s architectural, design, and planning capabilities to life.

Operations Team, Procurement
Experience | Ali’s interiors journey began with a degree in Textile Surface Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology before furthering her education with a graduate certification in Interior Design from the New York Institute of Art and Design. With nearly a decade of experience in the field, Ali has transitioned seamlessly into the realm of Charleston design after departing her native New York.
Expertise | As Procurement Manager, Ali embraces responsibilities that encompass both design and procurement logistics. Her organizational skills, design background, and keen attention to detail are vital to the team’s project management process. From managing vendor relationships, to sourcing and creating a system for textile organization, as well as tracking and ensuring the delivery of client orders, she is an essential component in bringing every design project to completion.

Operations Team, Warehouse
Experience | Originally from Pawleys Island, Patrick earned his Associate’s Degree in Business before gaining extensive operational and logistics experience across various design-related industries, including millwork, flooring, kitchen and bath remodeling, sign restoration, and retail distribution.
Expertise | As Warehouse Manager, Patrick manages all aspects of PWD Studio’s inventory and warehouse operations. Collaborating closely with each member of the team to understand project scope, as well as working with vendors and clients, Patrick is essential in ensuring the meticulous organization, handling, and timely delivery of inventory and product. Alongside his project management abilities, he enjoys contributing to the logistical aspects of the design process.

Operations Team, Marketing
Experience | Amanda brings nearly a decade of marketing communication, branding strategy, and content production experience to PWD Studio, with a background in fine art, magazine publishing, and tableware. Raised in the Lowcountry and a College of Charleston graduate, she is delighted to be back in her home state following her time in New York.
Expertise | Amanda’s passion for strategic and creative writing, as well as her extensive experience in the pre-and post-production of photography and film, is leveraged daily as PWD Studio’s Marketing Manager, translating the design team's compelling work into brand stories, content, and collateral.
